Dr. Nabel works collaboratively with clients by fostering an open and safe space that empowers clients to observe, explore and adapt to find restorative balance in their lives. Dr. Nabel draws from many therapeutic modalities enabling her to tailor her approach to the unique needs of the client and work holistically to help them gain insight and encourage growth.
Dr. Nabel received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in the Combined School-Clinical Child Program. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Nabel received training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), family systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic techniques that she uses integrally in her work. Dr. Nabel enjoys working with clients of all ages in individual, couples, and group settings for both short and long-term treatment.
Before joining Madison Park Psychological Services, Dr. Nabel worked in a variety of clinical settings with clients from diverse educational, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Her clinical experiences included Ward Elementary School, Mount Sinai’s World Trade Center Mental Health Program, St. Dominic’s Foster Care, Yeshiva’s Parnes Clinic, and Lincoln Medical Center.
