Cristina Dominguez Psy.D
Dr. Cristina Domínguez received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando Florida. Merging a love for science and helping others she soon relocated to Tampa Florida where she received her Doctorate degree in clinical psychology at the Florida School of Professional Psychology. Throughout her graduate experience Dr. Domínguez discovered a passion for multicultural and diversity issues. Early experience focused on college counseling and first generation student retention. In addition, Dr. Domínguez has worked with Division I collegiate athletes in implementing mindfulness as well as peak performance techniques in order to facilitate performance enhancement.
Currently Dr. Domínguez provides individual, couples and family therapy at Madison Park Psychological Services where she specializes in incorporating holistic approaches to healing in therapy. Dr. Dominguez is open to integrating alternative approaches to treatment including eastern medicine which provides an all encompassing approach to the mind-body connection and its impact on overall functioning.
Dr. Domínguez strives to maintain a warm and empathic environment within the therapy setting. Despite her areas of specialization she prioritizes the unique needs of all individuals and dedicates herself to upholding an open-minded, interpersonal approach to therapy with all populations.
